In July, TGF welcomed representatives from the Ministry of Rural Development (MRD), including the Deputy Secretary, for a field visit to Chi Kraeng. This visit provided a valuable opportunity for the MRD to witness firsthand the impact of TGF’s diverse projects and further strengthen our collaborative partnership. TGF works closely with the MRD to ensure alignment with the Cambodian government’s rural development goals.
During the visit, the delegation observed a range of TGF initiatives, including biogas construction, rice seeder demonstrations, digital savings groups, improved community ponds, and vibrant libraries. These diverse projects demonstrate TGF’s commitment to sustainable communities. TGF’s Co-Chair, Brad Levitt, also joined the field visit, participating in discussions and highlighting the importance of these collaborative efforts.
The continued collaboration and partnership with local stakeholders, governmental bodies, and regional ministries, such as the MRD, are essential for achieving TGF’s long-term objectives and extending our reach and positive impact within Chi Kraeng. These partnerships ensure that development efforts are coordinated, efficient, and responsive to community needs. TGF believes that working closely with local government, as exemplified by this visit, is crucial for striving towards shared goals and fostering sustainable development. We are grateful for the continued support of the MRD and all our partners and look forward to building upon these achievements in the future.
