As part of TGF’s continued commitment to improving school safety and strengthening community resilience, TGF recently organized First Aid and Electrical Safety training for teachers, school staff, and community representatives from supported schools in Chi Kraeng District.
The trainings included participants from six primary schools and seven community kindergartens and aimed to improve practical knowledge and preparedness related to health, safety, and the safe use of electrical systems in schools and communities.

A total of 24 participants joined the First Aid training, where they learned both theoretical and practical skills to respond to common emergencies and accidents.
Training topics included:
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Choking response
- Drowning response
- Burn treatment
- Sprains, fractures, and injuries
- Wound care and bleeding control
Participants actively practiced emergency response techniques and completed post-training evaluations successfully. The training helped strengthen confidence and preparedness among teachers and school staff to respond quickly and appropriately during emergencies involving children and community members.
Additionally, 25 participants attended the Electrical Safety training, which focused on promoting safer use and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in schools and communities.
Topics included:
- Safe use of electricity
- Proper handling of electrical tools and materials
- Basic electrical installation knowledge
- Electrical protection systems
- Maintenance and safety procedures
The training also highlighted common risks related to unsafe wiring and electrical equipment, while providing practical guidance on preventive measures and maintenance.
Follow-up observations from previous trainings already showed improvements in school electrical systems and safer installation practices, demonstrating the importance of continued technical support and awareness activities.

These trainings are part of TGF’s broader efforts to improve safe learning environments for children and strengthen the capacity of schools and communities to prevent accidents and respond effectively during emergencies.
TGF would like to thank all participating teachers, school directors, trainers, and community members for their active participation and commitment to improving safety within their schools and communities.
